Step 1: Select the Professional Business Activity

The first step is choosing the correct professional activity from DET’s approved list. Selecting the right activity is critical, as it affects licensing, visa eligibility, and banking approvals.

Step 2: Choose the Legal Structure

Sole Establishment (single owner), or

Civil Company (two or more professional partners)

Professional licenses generally allow 100% foreign ownership. In some cases, a Local Service Agent (LSA) may be appointed for administrative purposes only, with no ownership or profit rights.
